Amber Pennington | Performer

For more than 30 years now, Amber Pennington has been touching hearts and entertaining audiences with her soulfully rich vocals and magnetic stage presence.  Becoming known at the age of six for her rendition of the National Anthem at NFL and Major League Sporting events, she continued to sing in venues from Texas to Tennessee, including the legendary Bluebird Cafe.  After attending South Plains College, Amber moved to Nashville and where she joined the staff of Country Music Association.  Amber continued to pursue music and quickly became sought after as a session vocalist among songwriters in town.   A true Texan, Amber returned to the Lone Star state in 2007.  She now hails from Lubbock, Texas with her husband (& fellow musician), Johannes Bjerregaard and two children, Carson & Callie Jeane.   Amber performs regularly at the Cactus Theater and with the Lubbock Texas Rhythm Machine.  While performing at The Cactus Theater, Amber has played the role of "Patsy Cline", in the stage production of "Always...Patsy Cline," the roles of both Tammy Wynette & Dolly Parton in the Cactus Theater production, "Minnie's Pearls II", the role of “Natalie Haller” in “All Shook Up,” as well as performing in many of our fan favorite tribute shows.
