Dustin Garrett | Performer

Dustin Garrett was raised on The Cactus Theater stage. From age 7, Dustin performed on various shows from 1995 to 2003.  Being no stranger to theatrical shows, he performed in Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story and Bye Bye Love: The Everly Brothers Story. He received an Associate’s Degree in Music Performance from South Plains College in 2009, and toured for four years with the Tommy Gallagher Band and the Taylor Hickey Band, traveling in the Texas Country/Red Dirt Regional Circuit.  In 2010, Dustin was included as one of the Top 5 National Guitarists in Guitar Center’s “King Of The Blues” contest. Later that year, Dustin joined the Lubbock Texas Rhythm Machine and worked as Music Director/Co-Producer from 2012 through July of 2016.  He also continues to make music regularly with his "Fiddle Sweetheart" Kristi Garrett, and the couple welcomed into the world a daughter, Stevie Rae Garrett in October of 2014.
