Donnie Allison…A Tribute to Buddy Holly |
When Donnie portrayed Buddy Holly in “Buddy…The Buddy Holly Story” at the Cactus Theater in Lubbock, Texas, we felt compelled to record this tribute to the music of Buddy Holly. Our production concept for this album was to embrace the genius of Buddy Holly and the Crickets by emulating the original arrangements as closely as possible while combining Donnie’s unique vocal treatments with state of the art instruments and recording techniques.
