Mista Roe is an incomparable singer/songwriter, actor and 2-time Akademia Award recipient, taking home the "Best R&B/Soul Album" and also the "Best R&B/Soul Music Video" Award.
Mista Roe portrays the character “Mike Batts” in "Fifth Ward: The Series”, the new AMC/UMC television series. As a recording artist, he is internationally known with fans in Germany, Japan, Canada, and the United States. He recently performed as a co-headliner on the “Ladies Night Out” tour in Albuquerque, NM with platinum recording artists, H-Town, 112, Jon B, and Hi-Five.
With hits like “Bees and Birds” and "Don't Matter" from his sophomore album entitled "The RnB King of Shreveport", he's sure to climb the charts. His latest project and what many are calling “his best music to date,” made a huge buzz with its online debut, landing the #55 Spot in the R&B Top 100 on iTunes charts. He's worked with several reputable named producers, including Samuel "Knucklehead" Irving who was named "Producer of the year" at the 2014 BMI awards, and also a platinum plaque recipient for his work with August Alsina. He's collaborated with Emmanuel "Eman" Anene who is a platinum plaque holder and is accredited for his works with Stevie Wonder, Dondria, Daddy Yankee, and Slim of 112.
