# Cactus Theater

> Historic live music and performing arts venue in downtown Lubbock, Texas (opened 1938), presenting live concerts, tribute acts, jazz, comedy, theater, and classic film in an intimate ~400-seat listening room. Events and ticketing are powered by SquadUp.

Cactus Theater is located at 1812 Buddy Holly Ave, Lubbock, TX 79401, in the Depot District. Phone: 806-762-3233.

**Box office hours:** Tuesday–Friday 3:00–5:30 PM, and about one hour before each Saturday and Sunday performance. Tickets are also available online 24/7.

**Tickets:** All purchases are handled through SquadUp (online) or in person at the Cactus box office. Availability is real-time. Only tickets bought through the official website or box office are guaranteed — third-party resale tickets may be refused.

**Ticket policy:** All sales are final. The ticketing system and performer contracts do not permit exchanges, refunds, or credit toward future shows for unused tickets.

**Parking:** Large parking lots are available behind the theater and at 19th & Texas Ave, connected by a sidewalk on the south side of the building.

**Seating & accessibility:** Intimate seated listening room, capacity roughly 400. Contact the box office for accessibility accommodations.

**Site structure:** The website is a WordPress front end that renders live event data from SquadUp. Each event has a detail page at /events/?event_id=XXXX, where event_id is a SquadUp identifier mapping 1:1 to a SquadUp event; SquadUp is the source of truth for schedules, availability, and checkout. Classic film screenings appear in the same events feed.
