The Sounds of West Texas group is back again to present "A Night of Number 1 and Classic Love Songs." Bring a date, a friend or your family to come out and enjoy some of the BEST LOVE SONGS ever written! The Sounds of West Texas Band - comprised of some of Lubbock's finest musicians - will be performing with and backing this very talented lineup. Not only will you hear beautiful love songs, but, as always, this show has a few exciting moments such as twins Leah and Megan Bynum playing twin fiddles and the very gifted Ray Espinoza playing the Chet Atkins/Jerry Reed tune, "Jerry's Breakdown." Bobby Clark will emcee the evening which will be filled with a variety of performers, and a great mix of all kinds of love songs such as the Bryan Adams song, "Everything I Do, I Do it for You,"; the Sara Evans hit, "Suds in the Bucket,"; the beautiful Lionel Richie ballad, "Three Times a Lady,"; Martina McBride's perfect holiday song,"Valentine"; Jimmy Buffet's hit from the ’70s, "Come Monday"; the ’50s classic "Going to the Chapel" and the mega Dolly Parton hit, "I Will Always Love You" - just to name a few. There will be country, rhythm and blues, soft rock, pop nostalgia and pop music from the ’50's to current time - all being a certified number one song on the charts or a classic hit song. This show is one the whole family can come and enjoy together - or - it would make a perfect date night! There is no other show in Lubbock quite like it - in that some of the performers sing jingles for a few of the sponsors of the show to make it fun for the audience. And, adding to the fun, 8 to 10 lucky audience members can win a door prize donated from one of our local businesses.. The doors will open at 6:15 p.m. and the show will begin at 7:00. There will be a few door prizes given away at 6:50 and then again just before the second half begins.
