The Sounds of West Texas Concert Series will be kicking off the first show of 2020 on February 15th with the "Classic and Popular Love Songs" show. There will be a mix of all styles and genres of music featuring some of Lubbock's finest musicians and performers. This would be a great show for a date night, a friends gathering, or one the whole family can enjoy. This show is unique and consistent by giving door prizes for lucky audience members, and some of the regular performers sing fun jingles for a few of the sponsors for the show.
The humorous and fun-loving Kurt Kiser will be the emcee for the evening. Special guests for the show will be Jeff Bailey, Bo Garza, Mark Gillham and JW Margrave. Regular featured performers will be: Leah Bynum, Megan Bynum, Steve Burrus, Danny Dukatnik, Ray Espinoza, Jimmy Henderson, Brenda Hopkins, Mike Huffman, Donnetta Lippe, Donnie Martin, Johnny Richardson, Betty Smith, Keith Smith, Mark Wallney, Terry Westbrook. and Steve Williams.
The lucky audience will hear songs such as, "Hello Darling," "Crying," Where've You Been?," "The Heart Won't Lie," "I Couldn't Leave You if I Tried," "Georgia Rain," "Statues Without Hearts," and many more classic and best-loved songs!
Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and some door prizes will be given away at 6:50. The show will be starting at an earlier starting time of 7:00 p.m.
