Get ready for a solid, all-local cast of great talent performing songs that bring us all together!

The Sounds of West Texas will be presenting the annual "Home for the Holidays" concert featuring some of Lubbock's most talented musicians performing an ecclectic mix of inspirational songs about love, family, and home. This show will be kicking off the holiday season with some Christmas and gospel tunes that promises to lift your spirits with songs such as: "Christmas Time's a-Comin'; "It Wasn't His Child," "The Christmas Song ( Chestnuts Roasting...)"; "Angels We Have Heard on High" and more. There will be a special tribute to mothers with an original song, and one that is a country classic. You will always hear a lot of familiar and favorite classic and current country, plus rhythm & blues, gospel, soft rock, and pop songs on every Sounds of West Texas Show. Some other songs that will be featured are: "I Just Wanna Dance With You," "Perfect," "I Only Want You for Christmas," "Back Home Again," "Who Says You Can't Go Home," and many more of some of the best songs ever written. This concert is one for all ages, so bring your family & friends you had for Thanksgiving, and come out to enjoy beautiful music that will leave you feeling blessed. At all Sounds of West Texas shows there are door prizes donated by local businesses for some lucky audience members (starting at 6:50). What really makes this show unique is a few of the regular performers sing quirky and fun jingles on stage for some of the sponsors, which has become a favorite time of the show for the audience. Kurt Kiser will be the emcee for the evening who you can count on for fun and laughter throughout the night!

Featured performers will be: Larry Allen, Steve Burrus, Leah Bynum, Megan Bynum, Danny Dukatnik, Mark Frandsen, Mark Gilliam, Jimmy Henderson, Mike Huffman, Donnetta Lippe, Donnie Martin, Johnny Richardson, Betty Smith, Riley Solberg, Baxter Vaughan, Mark Wallney and Terry Westbrook.
