NOTE: Wednesday, October 19 represents the SECOND night in this special 2-night series as the CMA of Texas presents its postponed 2022 Awards on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 - followed by the 2023 Awards (with special film screening) presented on Wednesday, October 19. Both shows held at the historic Cactus Theater, Lubbock, Texas.
As noted above, the 2023 Awards Show will be on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 and will celebrate the OFFICIAL MUSIC OF TEXAS – Western Swing – with a screening of the documentary film from 6:00-7:15pm, The Birth and History of Western Swing.
Following the film, the following awards will be presented and performances interspersed throughout.
