Jeff McCreight was Houston-born but Lubbock-raised – and started singing on stage around age 5.  Though life invokes many changes as it twists and turns through the unfurling of the calendar pages, music has been the common thread running through Jeff’s life.  Fulfilling a lifelong dream, Jeff recently completed his first recording project.  “Standing” is the title of the CD and it is a combination of Nashville and Lubbock studio tracks.

 In good times or bad, there is always a tune that can say what you need to say.  That is the gravitational pull that keeps the song in the heart of the singer.  And to be a “really good singer” has been and always will be one of the strong passions of Jeff McCreight.  Jeff is married to his wife, Tina, and they have three daughters and a son.  Jeff performs with his own band, Southern Conviction, and makes frequent appearances at the Cactus.   Whatever the occasion, Jeff McCreight can deliver the song - and the moment - that audiences have come to expect from this seasoned professional.
