The Sounds of West Texas Concert Series will be presenting, “A Night of Classic Love Songs” beginning at 7:00 pm. These talented local artists will be performing great nostalgic tunes from various decades and genres that will include some of the best songs ever written! All Sounds of West Texas shows feature an entertaining mix of Country, Pop, Rhythm & Blues, Soft Rock, Americana, Folk, Blues and Gospel/Inspirational music. This is a show for the whole family and could also be a great night for a post-Valentine's Day date with your sweetheart! Some things that make all of the Sounds of West Texas shows unique is that some of the artists perform jingles on the show that helps advertise for a few of the sponsors and door prizes (that are donated by some local businesses), are given away to some lucky audience members. The jingles and door prizes add and element of fun for the audience. The fun-loving and hilarious Kurt Kiser will be the emcee for the evening, and there is a rumor that the very delectable (or perhaps, unpredictable) "Minerva and the Pearls" will be making one of their rare appearances on the Cactus stage that one would not want to miss! This night will be an evening of laughter and wonderful music.
Featured performers: Steve Burrus, Danny Cadra, Sheena Fedeyi Flores, Jimmy Henderson, Brenda Hopkins, Mike Huffman, Darryl Lippe, Donnetta Lippe, Donnie Martin, Jeff McCreight, "Minerva and the Pearls", Betty Smith, Ricky Turpin, Mark Wallney, Steve Williams and Erin Wolff.
Doors will open at 6:15 and door prizes will be given away beginning at 6:50...with the show set to officially begin at 7 pm.
