We’ve lined up some great classic films for your enjoyment this fall - and this series pass makes it easy!

The historic Cactus Theater is offering its Classic Cinema series Sept 6 through December 20 - with 2 films offered each month on select Wednesdays.  The film screenings may be purchased individually or included in this special FALL 2023 SERIES PASS!  

Also included with each screening:  Vintage shorts - which may include historic newsreels, cartoons, or other special features - as part of the classic cinema experience.

Individual film screenings are $7 per ticket - however, this series pass makes it easy to see all 6 of the remaining films in the series with one easy purchase. Simply show your pass at the door each time you attend a screening…it’s that easy!

Each film will be offered as a 2:20 pm matinee and 7:20 pm evening screening.

Sept 6:  “Singin' in the Rain” (1952) - Considered the greatest movie musical and one of the best films ever; stars Gene Kelly, Donald O’Connor and Debbie Reynolds 

Sept 20:  “Blue Hawaii” 
(1961) - The first of three movies Elvis filmed in Hawaii and the film that introduced the classic song "Can’t Help Falling In Love”; starring Elvis Presley, Angela Lansbury and Joan Blackman

Oct 4:  “Vertigo” (1958) - Directed by the master of suspense, Alfred Hitchcock; starring James Stewart and Kim Novak

Oct 25:  “The Shining” (1980) Horror-thriller directed by the legendary Stanley Kubrick; starring Jack Nicholson, Danny Lloyd, Shelley Duvall and Scatman Crothers

Nov  15:  “Paper Moon” (1973) Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of this film's release; directed by Peter Bogdanovich, starring Ryan O’Neal, Tatum O’Neal - winner for Best Supporting Actress - making her the youngest competitive winner in Academy Awards history 

Nov 29:  “Meet Me in St Louis” (1944) - Directed by Vincente Minnelli; starring Judy Garland, Margaret O'Brien, Mary Astor, Marjorie Main and June Lockhart

Dec 6:  “Holiday Inn” (1942) - The beloved film that introduced the all-time classic song "White Christmas”; starring legendary crooner Bing Crosby and the master of dance, Fred Astaire

Dec 20:  “It's A Wonderful Life”
(1946) - Directed by Frank Capra, this war-era masterpiece is considered one of the greatest films of all time; starring James Stewart, Donna Reed and Lionel Barrymore
