The Sounds of West Texas group will be presenting the annual “Home for the Holidays” show. This is a show that will lift your spirits and put you in the mood for the holiday season! The Sounds of West Texas show at the historic Cactus Theater is a great place to bring your family and out-of-town guests for a fun night of comedy and wonderful classic songs from various genres. There will be songs about home, family, love and Christmas - in the styles of country, soft rock, folk, rhythm & blues, gospel and inspirational. This group always performs some of some of the best songs ever written! Kurt Kiser will be the emcee for the evening and you can guarantee laughter throughout the evening! The Sounds of West Texas show is set apart from all other shows in Lubbock because of the inclusion of fun “jingles” performed to advertise some of our sponsors - and door prizes given away to lucky audience members!
Featured performers will be: Larry Allen, Gage Brockman, Jimmy Henderson, Mike Huffman, Kaci Keltz, Donnetta Lippe, Donnie Martin, Lance May, John Reid, Kallie Rogers, Betty Smith, Brent Smith, Dakota (Earnest) Tauferner and Mark Wallney.
Tickets are $25 for all floor and standard balcony seats and $50 for balcony box seats - and these limited box seats come with concessions included (box seat customers pick up your wristband at the box office when you arrive and present it at the concession stand when ordering).
Tickets can be purchased online at cactustheater.com or by calling 806.762.3233 during the afternoon hours of 3:00-5:30 pm or go by in person during those same hours to buy in person. Tickets can also be purchased the night of the show at the door.
Doors will open at 6:20 pm, and the first door prizes will be given away starting at 6:50 pm....just before the show kicks off at 7 pm.
