The “British Invasion” was a music phenomenon that occurred in the early 1960s when rock and pop acts - as well as other aspects of British culturefrom the United Kingdom - became wildly popular in the United States. Seemingly overnight, young groups rode the wave of this sensation and began dominating the music charts and concert halls of America. In this ALL-NEW production, the Cactus Theater and Vibe LBK pay tribute to the capstone bands at the forefront of the movement: The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. And as many know, both of these legendary groups gained much of their early influence from a young lad from Lubbock - our own Charles Hardin (“Buddy”) Holley.

As we highlight the musical milestones throughout the show, you’ll hear the BEST OF THE BEST classic hits from these iconic groups performed by the combined talents of Jacob Blackmon (guitar), Dustin Garrett (guitar), Ross Raedeke (bass), Tony Garcia (drums) and Rob Chapman (keyboard). Vocalists for the show include: Jeff McCreight, Jason Fellers, Brandon Gwinn and Kassidy King.
