Asleep at the Wheel has seen "Miles and Miles of Texas".....gotten their kicks on "Route 66"....and spent quite a bit of time down at the "House of Blue Lights".  Now in their 43rd year, the band continues to introduce the western swing genre to a new generation on tour and takes audiences on the ride of a lifetime with each turn on stage.  Along the way, they've been the torchbearers for keeping the definitive Texas swing sound of Bob Wills alive and kickin' as well.  "It's been an amazing ride. From Paw Paw to San Francisco to Austin, we've seen it all," says Wheel front man Ray Benson. "But, rest assured, there are still so many exciting projects in the works. The Wheel keeps rolling!"

THE WHEEL makes another highly-anticipated appearance at the Cactus Theater on Friday, May 5th at 7:30 pm.  No opening act for this show.
