Danny Raines Benefit Concert

Danny Raines Benefit.jpg

Danny Raines always has always had his friends’ back. Now is the time that he needs someone to have his back during this most difficult time of his life.

Danny moved to Texas from Detroit, MI, in 1977 to play with the Jay Boy Adams Band. Jay Boy mailed him a catalog of music and when he arrived he was prepared. He was easy to identify getting off the plane, Jay Boy says he was the only passenger who got off that remotely resembled a rock star. They rehearsed a few days and then played their first show with STYX and Sea Level a week later in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Danny is a trouper and a loyal one at that. He covered hundreds of shows and several hundred thousand miles. His Detroit personality kept everyone entertained both on and off the stage through the good, great, and rough times.

Performances by: Jay Boy Adams, Mike Pritchard and Mark Walney, Mike Carraway, Steve Williams, Mark Paden, Jimmy Mason, Steve Meador, Tommy Fisher, Myz Ayn, and Junior Vasquez, Woody Key, Danny Darling, Paul Culber, Darren Welch and Don Caldwell.

There will be a Live Auction at intermission with items such as a Yamaha guitar signed by all the performers; a 20x25" framed watercolor painting donated by artist Glen Garnett; a guitar signed by 2018 SXSW artists; Garth Brooks signed item (TBD); Jay Adams Pickles; Montecristi Custom Hat Works from Santa Fe (Value $2700); Yamaha guitar signed by Danny Raines benefit performers....along with a silent auction containing many other great items as well.
