The new website was built to better serve our patrons while honoring the legacy of one of Lubbock’s most iconic entertainment venues. Originally opened in 1938 and restored as a live performance theater in 1995, the Historic Cactus Theater continues to be a cornerstone of the city’s arts and entertainment community.
